Students Present Research Projects to Campus Community

Classes may have been cancelled at MSUM but students were still hard at work.

Nearly 300 students filled the CMU presenting research projects most have been working on for the past several months.

The university cancels classes to allow the entire campus community to check out the students’ hard work.

Topics include everything from cures to cancer, to personalities of fish and how that relates to humans exhibiting stress.

“Students are genuinely excited about and passionate about their research topics and of course they catch that enthusiasm from their faculty members who are also very passionate about their research,” says MSUM President, Anne Blackhurst.

Blackhurst says some student’s research has even been published in the past.

This is the 18th year for the conference.
