Fargo School Teacher Association Hosts Preemie Baby Shower

Teachers at the Fargo Public School District are lending a helping hand.

Members of the Fargo Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa teacher association held a baby shower for newborns in the NICU.

The preemie baby shower is an annual event the organization hosts every year at Sanford Hospital.

During the shower, organizers gave out more than 160 preemie outfits.

Organizers say it’s their way of showing support during a difficult time.

“It’s a stressful time, those little babies have a challenge that many of us don’t know because we haven’t experienced it, but we certainly can be empathetic and show them our support.,” said Pat Pobst, a teacher at Fargo Public Schools.

This is 8th annual Alpha Delta Kappa preemie baby shower.
