Kasich Drops Out, Trump Claims He’ll Be Helpful

Gov. John Kasich, Donald Trump’s final Republican challenger, has suspended his presidential campaign.

In a press conference earlier today, he said, “And as I suspend my campaign today, I have renewed faith, deeper faith that the Lord will show me the way forward and fulfill the purpose of my life.  Thank you and God bless.”

Ted Cruz dropped out of the race last night, clearing the path for Trump to get the party’s nomination in Cleveland in July.

Trump says Kasich will be very, very helpful with Ohio in November.
