Fargo Man Accused of Killing Brother’s Alleged Molester Set to Plead Guilty

Prosecutors say a Fargo man accused of murder in the beating death of a 55-year-old man at a Moorhead trailer court is set to plead guilty at a court hearing Thursday afternoon.

Clay County Attorney Brian Melton says Anthony Lee Rodriguez is expected to plead guilty to first-degree manslaughter charges in Clay County District Court this afternoon.

Rodriguez, of Fargo, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 55-year-old Bradley Carrington.

Rodriguez’s younger brother, Zachary St. Claire, was originally charged with first-degree murder in Carrington’s October slaying after police said the 16-year-old confessed he killed Carrington because Carrington had been molesting him for years.

Those charges were dropped and replaced with lesser aiding charges after the boy told police his older brother killed Carrington.
