Man Faces Charges After Shooting Outside of Bar

A Battle Lake man is in critical condition at Essentia in Fargo after being shot.

Otter Tail County authorities arrested 48-year-old Michael Spilde of Battle Lake.

They say Spilde shot 28-year-old Phillip Kaste outside the Rusty Nail bar in Battle Lake around 1:30 this morning.

Spilde is being held on attempted murder charges.
