Scheels Arena Celebrates 2,000,000th Visitor

Scheels Arena in Fargo reaches a milestone and announces a smoking ban.

The arena hosted its 2,000,000th guest in June.

The arena first opened in 2008 and has played host to Fargo Force hockey, numerous tournaments, graduations, concerts and other events.

Starting in September, the arena will adopt a “No Smoking” policy throughout the arena and on the grounds.

The director of marketing says they are happy to move in a healthier direction.
