Accused Kidnapper Appears In Court
The man accused of attacking a woman in the West Acres Mall parking lot nearly a year ago is standing trial.
Abdirahman Sahel was in a Cass County courtroom for a second day as his jury trial continued.
Jurors heard testimony from witnesses.
Court documents say Sahel tried to rob and kidnap a woman in the JCPenny’s parking lot where she worked.
He was 15 at the time of the attack.
Sahel is being tried on robbery, terrorizing and attempted kidnapping charges.
