Woman Donates Home to Moorhead Family through Habitat for Humanity

 A Moorhead family is getting a new home thanks to Habitat for Humanity and the generous donation of a local woman.

After Donna Campbell’s husband passed away, she moved out of the home into an apartment.

She says it was difficult to keep up the house on her own and after she was approached by Habitat for Humanity, she decided to donate the home.

Volunteers fixed up the house for the new family who by chance had known Campbell previously.

“For it to go to somebody that I knew of is great. To see those two little kids, this is a great neighborhood for them and Moorhead school system is the best,” says Campbell.

The family will be moving into their home soon and say they’re very grateful for the generosity of both Campbell and Habitat for Humanity.
