Fargo Woman Injured in Crash with School Bus
A 67-year-old Fargo woman was hurt this morning after pulling into the path of a Moorhead School bus on Highway 75.
The crash happened around 8:45 at the intersection of 28th Avenue North and Highway 75.
Witnesses say the SUV driver stopped at the stop sign but then pulled out onto the highway.
The bus driver tried to swerve but couldn’t avoid hitting the SUV.
There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash.
“It did make a complete stop at the stop sign but then continued westbound in front of the school bus,” said Sgt. Thad Stafford of the Moorhead Police Department. “School bus tried to veer and break but wasn’t able to avoid a collision.”
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with lower body pain.
The driver of the bus also went to the hospital.
Both injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
