DAPL Protester Charged with Attempted Murder of Police Officer

A Dakota Access Oil Pipeline protester from Denver has been charged with attempted murder.

Red Fawn Fallis, 37, is accused of firing three shots at law enforcement on Thursday while they tried to clear protesters from private property.

Officers say Fallis was being an instigator and acting disorderly.

While offers were arresting her, Fallis pulled out a gun and fired several shots.

Fallis faces a long list of charges in Morton County including preventing arrest, possessing marijuana and engaging in a riot.
