Foster Kids One Step Closer to a Forever Home
Children in the foster care system are getting one step closer to finding a forever home.
North Dakota Heart Gallery photos were unveiled at the Fargo Air Museum.
The photos show children waiting for their forever adoptive families.
The occasion is being celebrated with a kids’ carnival and guest speakers.
The gallery is a crucial first step to improving the lives of kids that need a stable home.
“It has been a wonderful recruitment resource for the state of North Dakota and these children,” said Leann Miller, who is with the North Dakota Heart Gallery. “The children are in foster care and the Heart Gallery is a very unique opportunity.”
Each year, kids in North Dakota are waiting an average of almost three years in care before someone finally adopts them.
