Registration Opens for Salvation Army’s Annual Christmas Box
The Salvation Army wants to make sure everybody has the chance to take home a holiday meal for Christmas.
The Salvation Army is registering people for its annual Christmas food box distribution.
Registration is every day from 9 to 3:30 until Friday at the Salvation Army office downtown.
If you’re the head of a household, you must bring a photo ID and then social security cards for others who live with you.
Proof of your income and address is also necessary.
“We’ve been doing this for decades actually and we always give an opportunity for people who aren’t going to be able to afford maybe the extra things at Christmas to come and sign up and get those so they can have a nice dinner with their family,” said Major Elaine Medlock.
The meals will be distributed on December 20th at the Fargo Civic Center.
Registration will open again on November 28th.
