Cass County Administrator Likely To Be Fired

The Cass County Board of Commissioners is in the process of firing the county administrator.

The board issued a resolution suspending Keith Berndt with pay while it begins the process of letting him go.

Berndt was investigated for an incident at O’Hare Airport in Chicago in August.

A report says Berndt had a dispute with a flight attendant, who believed he was drunk, and he was removed from the plane.

In 2011, Berndt was given a suspended jail sentence after he pleaded guilty to DWI in Otter Tail County.

Two years ago, he was found not guilty of assaulting the teenage son of his girlfriend.
