West Fargo VFW Raises the Flag for Our Veterans
The West Fargo VFW invited all to come out and show support for Veterans Day.
The event started off with a performance from the West Fargo High School Band as a flag was raised to honor Veterans.
Throughout the day, there was a 21-gun salute by the VFW Honor Guard, speeches by veterans and a stew dinner.
They enjoyed a day of being together with other veterans and family members.
“My favorite part about today is the shift of all of the veterans that come together. It doesn’t matter which branch or what conflict we served in we get together we have a common interest and it’s just a great day to celebrate each other,” said First Commander Shorty Vetter.
The West Fargo VFW hosts this Veteran’s Day program every year and plan to keep this tradition going.
