Local Organizations Recognized for Helping People Find Affordable Health Care

The US Department of Health and Human services recognizes local organizations for helping people find health insurance in the metro.

Organizations such as Prairie St. Johns, YWCA and Gladys Ray partner with Family HealthCare to help clients find affordable health care.

A new report shows that around 4,000 North Dakotans pay full price for health insurance when they could be eligible for financial assistance.

From now until January 31st, Family HealthCare is offering open enrollment.

“As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child,” said Kim Gillan, who is with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. “It probably takes a village to help consumers access insurance and health care. So each of these organizations have a network and they have worked with Family HealthCare.”

To receive health care by the New Year, you must enroll by December 15.
