Mother Nature in Favor of Scheels Ice Fest

Today’s weather was perfect for the third annual Ice Fest at Scheels.

Scheels invited the community to score early season savings on the best brands for ice fishing.

At least 34 different vendors were set up.

A seminar is also set up, which is “New Age Walleye Tactics” by Jason Mitchell.

“This is the kind of weather that ice fishers love because this is the kind of weather they’re going to be fishing in,” said event leader Caryn Olson. “So it kind of stinks a little bit that we haven’t had any acclamation to this kind of weather yet. So we’re kind of jumping right straight into it.”

The Ice Fest also featured the brand new Ice Castle Fish Houses from Outlet Recreation.
