IronEyes: Civil Disobedience Now
A former candidate for Congress is under fire for a social media post about the pipeline protest.
Democrat Chase IronEyes, who lost to Republican Congressman Kevin Cramer earlier this month, wrote, “there is no other way but civil disobedience now.”
He said in order to stop construction one must trespass on DAPL property.
In another post he clarified that he doesn’t stand on violence.
Gov. Dalrymple has asked the Army Corps to speed up its decision on whether to allow the pipeline under a Missouri River reservoir.
