Ahlness Known for Dedication, Strong Work Ethic
The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the pilot who was killed in a plane crash Thursday near the Wild Rice River.
Hans Ahlness, 55, died after his Cessna plane had an in-flight emergency and crashed in a field.
Ahlness worked at Weather Modification International for 31 years, was Vice President of Operations and trained many professional pilots.
We caught up with Ahlness last year at a conference where himself and others tried finding ways to reduce hail in rain storms.
The company says his dedication and strong work ethic helped them grow throughout the last three decades, and that he will be missed.
