Truck Drives Into A West Fargo Bar

A West Fargo bar is cleaning up after a pickup drove through its front wall in the noon hour Wednesday.

Authorities responded to Rookie’s Sports Bar and Grill around noon to tow the vehicle out.

The owner of the bar says two high school girls were grabbing a shake for lunch next door before their pickup ended up inside the bar.

It’s believed the driver hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes.

“The whole vehicle was actually in the bar,” said owner of Rookies Sports Bar and Grill Jeremy Danielson. “The back wall stopped it, it kind of went through a bunch of tables and chairs. The good thing is there was no one at that section at that time so no one was hurt. Everyone driving the vehicle was not hurt as well.”

Danielson put up a temporary wall right away until he can figure out the total damage.
