West Acres Hosts Special Event for a Group of Adventurers

Adventurers get a special meeting with Santa.

The F-M Super Adventures group, an organization designed for people with disabilities, holds a different activity every Thursday evening.

This week, the group traveled to West Acres Mall.

The adventure took them on a scavenger hunt based on the movie Elf.

“It’s all people with disabilities in the community and so we never know if they are going to be able to come or that kind of thing,” said Mandy Johnson with FM SUPER Adventures. “So we’re pretty informal when they show up and greet us. We just love it so tonight. I believe we have 12 participants.”

Scavenger hunt activities included smiling at strangers and high-fiving anyone in a Santa hat.
