Christmas Choir Concert Held at the Fargo Main Library
The Fargo-Moorhead Choral Artists held their first-ever family concert at the Fargo Library.
The event was free to the public and oriented towards getting kids involved in music.
Kids came up to help conduct the choir and sing along with some classic Christmas tunes, but there was more to the concert than just fun.
“Don’t tell the children but we mix a little bit of education into this event as well,” said Michael Culloton Conductor of the F-M Choral Artists. “Breaking down the choir and letting them know that the bases are the low part of the snowman, the lowest part, all the way up to the sopranos being the head of the snowman and the highest part.”
The FM choir says they hope to continue performing at the library in the future.
Their next show will be in January, performing Mozart’s Requiem.
