Grand Forks Man Allegedly Assaults Victim for Jacket

A Grand Forks man was arrested for punching a man and taking his jacket.

Police and UND officers were called out to the 300 block of Demers Avenue just before 8 o’clock last night.

The victim said 28-year-old Richard Gutierrez asked for his jacket and when he refused, he punched him and took it.

Gutierrez was taken into custody and booked into the Grand Forks County Jail.
