Local Law Enforcement Take Turns on the Kettle

Bells continue to ring in West Fargo, except this time it’s law enforcement doing the ringing at the kettles.

Off-duty officers are helping to wrap up the challenge between law enforcement, realtors and firefighters by ringing bells at the Salvation Army kettles.

Volunteers were placed at multiple locations including Family Fare, Hornbacher’s and Scheels.

The Salvation Army is still looking for more people to help ring bells before the campaign ends.

“It feels nice helping out the community, helping out the Salvation Army,” said West Fargo Police Officer Jacob Danielson. “I mean, whenever something major goes down, the Salvation Army is always there to help. So it’s nice to help them.”

The winners of the challenge will be announced on Friday during a press conference at Staybridge Suites in Fargo.
