HIRED Job Fair Helps People Find Their New Career

The HIRED Job Fair brings together 50 employers and over 500 job seekers

Prospective employees met with companies looking to fill empty positions at the HIRED Job Fair.

The event is the largest of its kind in the area and was co–sponsored by Preference Personnel, Job Service North Dakota and Radio F–M Media.

According to event organizers, attending the fair is not just a great way to find a new job, but also a way to get to know the community better.

“We’ve probably seen anywhere between 500 to 600 people come through these doors in the past,” said Jordan Murphy who is a Professional Placement Consultant with Preference Employment Services. “Again, it’s a great opportunity for those to come in, whether you’re looking for a new career or just moved to the area. A great opportunity to come and see what’s going on here in the community.”

More than 50 employers and 500 job seekers were expected to attend the job fair.
