MATBUS Changing Up Some Moorhead Routes

Moorhead MATBUS will be making some changes to a number of its popular routes

MATBUS is making changes to some of its routes in Moorhead.

The affected routes will be four, five, seven and eight.

Route seven will be completely eliminated and the areas serviced by seven will be picked up by route eight.

Route four will extend its service until 11:15 p.m.

People with MATBUS said these changes should come as a positive for riders.

“Our five year transit plan made a few recommendations to make it more efficient, closer to more people. So they moved a few streets over to where people could walk and get to that bus access a little bit easier,” said Moorhead Transit Manager, Lori Van Beek.
