North Dakota Man Hurt in Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Idaho

Smart was taken to a nearby hospital and his condition is not yet known

 

POCATELLO, Idaho — A North Dakota man is hurt and another person is dead after a motorcycle crash in Idaho.

David Smart, 30, of Minot and 29-year-old Alexandria Porterfield of California were thrown from their motorcycle after hitting a deer near Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve.

Porterfield, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.

Smart was taken to a nearby hospital and his condition is not yet known.
