1-Up: Nintendo Bringing Back NES Classic Edition Console in 2018
Nintendo company officials confirm they are bringing back the NES Classic Edition console that was discontinued earlier this year
NATIONAL — Gamers, you may have just defeated your toughest level yet and you didn’t need a 1-up to do it.
Nintendo company officials confirm they are bringing back the NES Classic Edition console that was discontinued earlier this year.
The $60 console was a top-seller when it came out in 2016, quickly selling out in stores across the country and declaring “Game Over.”
Its success prompted company officials to launch their new mini console, the SNES Classic edition, which will have games from the Super Nintendo era.
But gamers still want the original, so the company is giving into the demand and the console will be back on the market in 2018.
