Face It TOGETHER Celebrates Opening of Addiction Center in Fargo

Leaders within the organization held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate this new community hub in town

FARGO, ND — Face It TOGETHER is celebrating its grand opening of their new addiction management center.

Located in the Prairie Stone Center at 1650 45th Street South, the facility will offer peer counseling, treatment information and other resources to help sustain long-term addiction wellness.

Leaders within the organization held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate this new community hub in town.

Face It TOGETHER’s main service is free, which is confidential peer recovery coaching for any length of time with someone who has been in similar shoes.

“We really want to normalize the disease of addiction and remove the shame and stigma and I think by opening up the doors that we have here in Fargo/Moorhead, we’re doing that,” said Executive Director Kristi Ulrich. “We really have a world class organization here. You walk in and it doesn’t feel like a typical place and it doesn’t have a clinical setting.”

The group is based on a successful first model that was created in Sioux Falls.
