Courts Plus Hosts Community Halloween Carnival

Those working the event say every year the carnival attracts a large number of community members.

FARGO, ND — There’s only one place you can grab free Halloween goodies, win prizes playing carnival games, and enjoy inflatable obstacle courses.

It’s all at the Courts Plus Community Fitness Halloween Carnival!

Courts Plus in south Fargo holds the event each year, giving trick or treaters a chance to have a little more fun before they go door to door collecting candy.

Those working the event say every year the carnival attracts a large number of community members.

“We designed it around that, knowing that hey they want to go trick or treating, but if we do it right after school maybe they’ll come here first, try out all the games and then go trick or treating afterwards,” said Program Director Wayne Herrick. “Everyone seems happy. They come back year after year. We consistently see 1,200 to 1,500 people in that two hour time so they seem to be happy.”

This is Courts Plus’ 12th year running the event.

It’s free for the public and open to the entire community every Halloween.
