College Volleyball: Bison Outlast Mastodons on Senior Night

NDSU improves to 16-8 overall

FARGO, N.D. — Bison volleyball celebrated senior night in the Friday nights game against Fort Wayne and they were able to send their seniors off on the right note. North Dakota State defeated Fort Wayne 3-2 (25-22,21-25,25-18,25-27,15-10). The Bison improve to 16-8 overall, 7-5 in Summit League and improve to 2-0 in 5-set matches.

Jessica Jorgensen had a career-high 16 kills, and four blocks. Erika Gelzinyte chipped in 11 kills. Brianna Rasmusson had 39 assists, 24 digs, nine kills and recorded her third straight double-double.

NDSU takes on Western Illinois, Omaha on Nov. 10 and Nov. 12 to close out the regular season.
