Former New York Mills Teacher, Accused of Sexual Relationship with a Student, Found Not Guilty

His defense attorney says Koll is an innocent man and that he was wrongly accused

OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. — A former New York Mills teacher, who was accused of having a sexual relationship with a student, has been found not guilty.

Kris Koll, 38, was acquitted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

He was accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a student while teaching in New York Mills.

His defense attorney says Koll is an innocent man and that he was wrongly accused.

Koll says he is hoping he will be able to restore his reputation.
