Apple Admits to Slowing Down Older iPhones, AT&T Employees Get Tax Bill Holiday Bonus
AT&T is offering hefty holiday bonuses to celebrate the passing of the GOP tax bill.

NATIONAL — It’s a controversy that Apple has finally put to rest by admitting they slow down older iPhones.
The company says they have a good reason for doing it because the older the phone, the older the battery and that means more room for potential problems.
They say older batteries can cause iPhones to shut down without warning and they created the slow-down software to prevent this from happening.
Apple says the SE, 6, 6S and 7 are all impacted by this software.
AT&T Employees Benefit from GOP Tax Bill
AT&T is offering hefty holiday bonuses to celebrate the passing of the GOP tax bill.
Company officials say each of their 200-thousand U.S. workers will receive $1,000 in a bonus check.
Although the company’s CEO was criticized for supporting the bill, which slashes the tax rate for corporations, President Trump welcomed it.
AT&T says the bonuses will be delivered over the holidays if it is enacted by Christmas.
