Fargo Civic Center to Host 2nd Women’s March on Saturday

The Fargo Moorhead 2018 Women's March Will Be Held Saturday January 20th

FARGO, N.D. — The Women’s March is back for a second year in the metro and this year they’re saying they want to go a step beyond the march.

The event, which will take place this Saturday at the Fargo Civic Center, hopes to encourage more women to participate in politics, both locally and nationally.

Eight speakers will kick off the event to inspire those attending, followed by the march through Downtown Fargo.

Organizers encourage men and women as well as people of all beliefs to attend.

“If you want to come and learn about how you can participate more in our democracy, just a little bit more than you have before, just take one little step outside your comfort zone, we’re here to give you some ideas and inspiration,” said Nicole Mattson, who is a Women’s March Organizer.

The speakers will start Saturday afternoon at 1 and the march will get underway around 1:30.
