NDSU Breaks Ground for Sudro Hall Expansion

All students in the College of Health Professions will be able to collaborate under one roof

FARGO, N.D. —┬áStudents in NDSU’s College of Health Professions will have a new facility come spring 2020.

The university broke ground for the expansion of Sudro Hall. The new $28 million facility will be six stories and 74,000 square feet.

The project is funded through private sector donations. It will allow nursing, pharmacy, allied science, and public health students to collaborate in one building.

“It will improve the quality of education for students. What we’re really doing by having everyone under the same roof is [allowing] faculty and students to [practice] being a member of a healthcare team,” said Charles Peterson, Dean of the College of Health Professions.

The College of Health Professions is the second largest college at NDSU, with more than 2,000 students and 165 faculty and staff members.
