Teen Arrested After Boy Was Thrown From UTV Near Dunvilla

17-Year-Old Teen suffered serious head injuries

DUNVILLA, Minn. — A teen driving a UTV was arrested after another teen was hurt in Otter Tail County.

The teen made a sudden change in course and caused a 17-year-old boy in the rear cargo area to be thrown after two in the morning on Saturday east of Dunvilla.

The boy suffered serious head injuries.

He was taken to a hospital in Detroit Lakes and then to Sanford in Fargo.

The 17-year-old driver was arrested for criminal vehicular operation resulting in great bodily injury and fourth-degree DWI.

There may have also been a violation of the county’s social host ordinance.
