Celebrate Everything Celtic at Hjemkomst Center’s Celtic Festival
MOORHEAD, Minn. – A week ahead of St. Patrick’s Day there are celebrations for all seven Celtic nations this weekend in Moorhead.
The 16th annual Celtic Festival features traditional music like bagpipes, kids activities to learn about Celtic culture and, of course plenty of rich food like scotch eggs.
It’s free to get in the doors at the Hjemkomst Center for the event from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday.
“It’s been really fun to collaborate with Fargo Parks, Moorhead Parks doing things together and we have just really enjoyed learning about the different Celtic countries as a high energy event. It’s just a lot of fun for people,” Kim Wangler with Moorhead Parks and Recreation said.
There’s limited parking at the Hjemkomst Center, but free shuttle will take people there from the American Crystal Sugar building and the Moorhead Center Mall during the festival.
