Rural Frazee Man Suffers Accidental Gunshot Wound To His Leg

FRAZEE, MN — A rural Frazee, Minnesota man is being treated in Fargo for an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call Sunday afternoon from 60-year-old Lloyd Bertek.
He says he was attempting to de-cock the hammer on a pistol when it fired a bullet into his leg.
Bertek was first taken to St. Mary’s Hospital and then flown to Fargo with non-life threatening injuries.
His current condition is not known.
