LIVE: Saddle Up For 94th Annual Little International Livestock Show
Little International Queen Joins KVRR To Talk About NDSU Tradition
Nearly a century of livestock tradition goes on display this weekend at NDSU.
The 94th annual Little International Livestock Show is Saturday at Shepperd Arena on campus.
About 100 students with the Saddle & Sirloin Club will show a variety of livestock.
For some of them, it’s their first chance to show animals in a competition setting.
If you go to the show, you can get up close to the cows, sheep and pigs being displayed.
And there’s even a beauty queen, Katie Skalicky, the Little International Queen.
She says, “Those four years and just this week in general, we like to joke about how it’s a holiday around campus for us kids, so we definitely love being a part of S&S and the Little International.”
The show starts at 8:00 a.m. Saturday. Finals are set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
