Three Arrested in Fargo after Early Morning Pursuit

A fourth passenger was released at the scene.

FARGO, N.D.–Three people have been arrested after they fled during an early morning traffic stop on Tuesday.

A Clay County deputy attempted to stop the vehicle for an equipment violation in the area of 8th Street and I-94. The driver refused to stop and fled westbound on I-94 at speeds reaching 75-80 miles per hour.

The driver eventually exited I-94 onto South University Drive where the deputy was able to conduct a PIT maneuver causing the vehicle to slide into a snowbank.

The driver, 25-year-old Dakota Paulson, was arrested on various charges including two outstanding warrants.

Two passengers, 35-year-old Candice Kelsey and 42-year-old Manuel Reyes, were arrested for 5th degree controlled substance possession. A fourth passenger was released at the scene.
