ND Colleges Receive Second Half of Cares Act Funding
The U.S. Department of Education awarded a total of $11,438,044 to North Dakota colleges and universities.

NORTH DAKOTA–The U.S. Department of Education has awarded the second half of funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act to colleges and universities in North Dakota.
The funding was awarded to higher education institutions to fund IT programs which support remote learning.
The U.S. Department of Education awarded a total of $11,438,044 to North Dakota colleges and universities.
North Dakota State University received the highest grant at $3.8 million and the University of North Dakota received the second highest at $2.7 million.
Senator John Hoeven says, “Today’s funds provide support to our universities and colleges across the state as they work to advance their technology and remote learning capabilities. The first half of funds provided emergency cash grants to students in need of assistance, and now this second half will support our institutions’ abilities to provide important services for their students.”
