N.D. Lions All-Star Games Canceled

Games were scheduled for July 13 & 14

FARGO, N.D. — One day after the North Dakota Shrine Bowl was canceled, the Lions All-Star Basketball Showcase follows. The series matches up the top class A and B players in the state up against each other played every summer.

The boys and girls contests were scheduled for July 13th at Bismarck Century and July 14th at West Fargo. Some of the players who were set to participate included Mr and Miss North Dakota Basketball, Devils Lake’s Grant Nelson and Shanley’s Relie Payne.

Instead, those players who were selected to play in both games will receive a memorable presentation of a plaque and other memorabilia from the Lions Club and North Dakota Coaches Association.
