UNITED STATES – Grand Forks is third and Bismarck is fifth on Go.Verizon.com’s Best Small Cities to Start a Small Business Report.

The website praises Grand Forks for the city’s 83% loan approval rate and its average commute time of 13 minutes. Both are the best on Go.Verizon.com’s list.

Even though agriculture is a big industry in North Dakota, the cellular carrier cites what it calls a significant amount of non-farm businesses as a reason to start a business in the capital city.
