Dent, MN man arrested for role in crash that left a woman dead on Saturday

OTTER TAIL CO., Minn. (KVRR) — 33-year-old Allen Alberts of Dent, Minnesota is being held for 2nd degree manslaughter – culpable negligence, after a woman died following a crash.
Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Nicole Shoultz of Dent was thrown from a pickup when it overturned into a farm field southwest of Perham around 6 a.m. on Saturday.
She was taken to the ER in Perham several hours after the crash where she died.
Alberts was later located and arrested.
The incident remains under investigation.
