Hornbacher’s gives record donation to Great Plains Food Bank as part of Feed Hope

Several thousands of dollars given to the Great Plains Food Bank

FARGO, N.D. – The 10th annual Feed Hope is a record breaker.

Customer’s donations during the month of December at Hornbacher’s stores added up to over $141,000 for the Great Plains Food Bank. It far surpasses last year’s Feed Hope record of nearly $81,000.

Hornbacher’s also made $10,000 donations to Dorothy Day Food Pantry and the Emergency Food Pantry.

“We said Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo is the greatest place on earth to live and this just really backs up that statement because everybody really cares about their neighbor and they’re willing to support each other,” Hornbacher’s President Matt Leiseth said.

Great Plains Food Bank will be able to provide more than 424,000 meals.
