NDSU foundation exceeds fundraising goal

The funding will go towards student scholarships, faculty support, facilities and various school programs.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The NDSU foundation exceeds a fundraising campaign goal 20 months ahead of schedule.

The In Our Hands campaign has raised $413 million dollars as of April 26th. Originally the goal was set at $400 million to be reached by the end of next year.

Already the campaign is impacting students, faculty and staff with funds going towards student scholarships, faculty support, facilities and various school programs.

“This campaign is not raising money that’s for long into the future, it’s about making the difference now and that’s what’s happening. It’s a true testament to the belief in confidence that our alumni and friends have in supporting NDSU and the excitement and energy they have to be able to help make this happen. Yes it’s making a difference today; it’s going to make a different tomorrow,” NDSU Foundation President & CEO John Glover said.

Fundraising will continue through the end of the year.
