Update: Fire heavily damages garages at south Fargo apartment complex

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – Fire caused heavy damage to row garages at the Autumn Brook Apartments at 4240 17th Avenue South in Fargo. firefighters responded just after 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire Department Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson said heavy flames could be seen coming from several of the garages when the first units arrived.

A number of those 15 stalls had significant damage. The fire burned through some of the walls, portions of roofing collapsed and some vehicles were also burned.

An estimate of damage is not available. The cause is under investigation.
