Homeowner Suffers Smoke Inhalation, Dog Rescued From Fargo House Fire
FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) — A man suffers smoke inhalation and firefighters rescue a dog after a fire in south Fargo Saturday night.
Crews were called just before 8 p.m. and found heavy smoke coming through the front door of the house.
The fire was burning in the kitchen.
The first hydrant the crew connected to was frozen and they had to connect to one further down the street.
The dog was found on the second floor and returned to the homeowner.
The homeowner was treated for smoke inhalation.
The house sustained some fire and water damage as well as heavy smoke damage.
The cause is under investigation.
