LIVE: Bras Are Off Broadway Once Again For Breast Cancer Awareness Month Fundraiser

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The bras are off Broadway once again for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Bras off Broadway returns for its 2nd year Thursday, October 26th with two events at 701 Eateries and Fargo Brewing.
Bras have been hanging off of the side of 701 Eateries all month long. There will be dinner and a fashion show at each location, featuring 25 bras designed by local artists. The bras will be auctioned off for Pink Plaid, an organization that directly assists people facing cancer in our community. Organizers want to make it easy for people to get help when they need it most.

Pink Plaid President Chris Myrvold explains, “It’s not a huge process to to go through. You contact us. You say ‘I need this’, and we’re more than willing to help out. We wanted to bring this event back to raise awareness, but also, breast cancer takes a huge financial toll on people. We wanted to be a resource for those people in the community that needed it.”

Organizers revived the event after the original “Bras on Broadway” fundraiser ended years ago.
