FM Area Foundation’s “Caring Catalog” Set To Surpass $1 Million Raise For Charity This Year
25 different non-profits are joining with the FM Area Foundation for a major charity push this holiday season
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – 25 different non-profits are joining with the FM Area Foundation for a major charity push this holiday season.
The Foundation’s 6th annual Caring Catalog launched today. They’re helping non-profits in a variety of different fields raise money through December 8th.
The FM Area Foundation covers all administrative costs of putting the catalog out and even covers credit card fees for donations.
Non-profits pay nothing to join, and get 100 percent of every donation.
Eric Wilkie, CEO of the FM Area Foundation, says they will surpass $1 million donated to organizations through the Caring Catalog this year.
Even though the catalog has only been around a few years, the Foundation’s mission is a lot older.
Wilkie adds, “We’ve been doing that since 1960. We’ve given away, as a community foundation, almost $85 million in our history, so this is what we do. We just really want to promote the good work that these charities are doing.”
