Hillsboro Burger King To Get Upgrades Thanks To New Franchise Owner & Operator

HILLSBORO, N.D. (KVRR) — There is some good news for fans of Burger King in the Hillsboro area.

Crown King Properties is the new franchise owner and operator of the restaurant in Hillsboro and they plan to make improvements.

The company says that includes digital upgrades and new order kiosks.

They will also be hiring managers and additional team members.

The company also bought Burger King locations in Willmar and Hutchinson, Minnesota.

Franchise owner and operator of Crown King Properties, LLC, Mike Knoop, previously worked as an assistant manager in 1992 at the Willmar restaurant he now owns.

This acquisition brings its total portfolio to eight Burger King restaurants.

“As someone from the central Minnesota area, acquiring these three restaurants in close proximately to where I grew up is a coming home of sorts,” said Mike Knoop. “My team and I are excited to take over these restaurants and make Burger King the beloved brand we know it can be in these local communities, serving Guests our iconic menu items that they’ve come to know and love, and that I’ve loved since my childhood.”
